All these elements of design come standard to a designer's list of "must haves" when embarking on an architectural project. But when does Light, as an element of design, finally infiltrate the design process? Unfortunately, all to often it is not until the skeleton is put together, the covering is being secured, and textures and colors are bering decided. By then, it is far too late. Proper illumination is one f the most crucial elements in the residential environment, yet, is unfortunately the element most frequently overlooked.
Lighting is a crucial element of design and should be established early in the design stages of any architectural project. Proper illumination can deeply affect how we experience our living environments. For example, a heavily accented space can invoke feelings of intrigue and intimacy, while a generally bright space typically draws the masses.
Proper illumination creates depth, while at the same time, rejuvenating and soothing the soul in the place where we need it the most --- our homes. It is not only our business, but also our personal goal, to create for our clients an edifice of comfort, security, and pride. It is our goal to assist in the design process of architectural structures by adding a lighting scheme which will make the final product truly phenomenal.
