  • ARCHITECTURE IS CREATED IN DETAILS

At HELIUS Lighting Group, we believe there is no such thing as too much information. The success to any to any architectural structure in the details provided to the installing contractors. Creative ideas can only become reality if they are conveyed to others in a comprehensive and detailed manner. That is why HELIUS believes that job specific drawings and details are essential to the success of each and every project.

Proving quality CAD-based drawings is the standard for each project. These drawings include fixture schedule and counts, floor and reflected ceiling plans, job specific details and elevations, cut sheet specifications of all luminaries and lamps, as well as wattage calculations for lighting control purposes.

At HELIUS, we believe the key to any successful design is in the final aim and focus of each luminaire. Often times, you will find other design firms who present a design to the project but for one reason or another end up walking away from the project after the design is released and everything is installed. There are other firms who out-source or leave the final aim and focus of the lighting system to the instaling contractor. This should NEVER happen on your project and will never happen on a HELIUS project. One of the most crucial elements of the lighting design process is the final aim and focus of each luminaire. How can a thrid-party be expected to know the intent of the light source and it's purposes in the design? Only the person responsible for that design can know why a light source was placed where it was and how it is to perform. IT is the job of the designer to aim and focus each light source. Because lamps and glare control devices used in different situations can drastically affect the visual comfort of any environment, HELIUS progessionals are highly skilled in this aspect of design.
