Can a dining table be lit from 55’ away? This was one of the first questions posed to HELIUS by MLD Worldwide. On the north shore of Oahu, The Polynesian Cultural Center, Gateway Dining Hall was ready to create a new experience. HELIUS designers were excited to participate. The design also included wall washing a 20’ tall x 420’ long mural and making oversized custom conch shells glow with flaming fire. These challenges were to be met while keeping maintenance and power costs to a minimum. The results speak for themselves.
